Open the '28.8.1. Print Form Layouts' section
Go to the documentation section for working with print form layouts. Here you will find information about available layouts and their owners.

Open the 'Print Form Layouts' list
This list displays all available layouts. You can select the desired layout for viewing or editing.

Select a layout for editing
Click on the desired layout to open it in the editor. Make sure you have the necessary office programs installed.
Important. Microsoft Word and OpenOffice.org Writer formats require the corresponding software.

Make changes to the layout
Edit the layout as needed. After finishing the editing, save the changes and close the office program.
Important. When opening a layout in MXL format, it will be locked from changes.

Check the saving of the layout
Ensure that both versions of the layout, standard and edited, are saved in the information database. This will help avoid data loss.

Configure printing in the web client
If you are using a web client, check the browser settings for correct printing. Print forms are output in PDF format by default.
Important. To print in HTML format, you need to enable the corresponding printing method in the settings.

Check for a PDF viewer program
Make sure a PDF viewer program is installed on the computer. This is necessary for successful printing.
Important. If the program is not present, an error message will be displayed.

Configure Internet Explorer for printing
Ensure that all necessary settings in Internet Explorer are completed. This will help avoid errors during printing.
Important. Skipping settings may result in an error message.
