How we work
A contractor does what they are told. We do what is better for your business — here is what that means in practice.
A typical contractorTinyCIO
Getting a taskA typical contractor: Does exactly what the request says.TinyCIO: First we ask: what for? If we know a better way to reach your goal, we suggest it.
Proposing a solutionA typical contractor: One option, and you learn the price from the invoice.TinyCIO: 2–3 options: quick and cheap, reliable, or ready for growth — each with its price and risk. No padded quotes.
Writing the specA typical contractor: The way that suits the developer.TinyCIO: So that your people need fewer clicks and less time.
When it's doneA typical contractor: Closes the ticket and leaves.TinyCIO: We tell you what else we noticed around the task and suggest how to fix it.
PaymentA typical contractor: Strictly by the price list.TinyCIO: We can agree: instalments, deferred payment, barter, a partnership deal — terms discussed individually.
