Scheduling Scenario Setup
— Open the 'Scheduling Scenarios' section to start the setup. — Define the scheduling frequency and the method of plan input. — Configure the 'Scheduling by Assignments' checkbox for detailing. — Create a new planning stage and define the types of plans.

Open the 'Scheduling Scenarios' section
Navigate to 'Planning – Settings and Directories – Inventory Planning'. Select 'Scheduling Scenarios' to start the setup.

Go to the 'Main' tab
On this tab, define the scheduling frequency. Choose one of the options: Day, Week, Decade, Month, Quarter, Half-Year, or Year.
Important. Only one period option can be selected for the scenario.

Specify the method of plan input
Choose how plans will be entered: with prices and amounts or only quantitative. This will determine the format of your data.

Configure the 'Scheduling by Assignments' checkbox
Check the box if you want to detail plans by assignments. This will allow for more accurate resource planning.

Go to the 'Plan Structure' tab
On this tab, you can describe the planning process. Here, the setup of planning stages will be available.
